⁣On National Peoples Day in June 21, 2017, it was proudly christened as the Chief Isadore Trail, a prestigious segment of the Trans Canada Trail. And, an enduring tribute to Nasuʔkin (chief) Isadore with the Ktunaxa nation.⁣

While primarily enjoyed for its recreational appeal, the trail also features Ktunaxa interpretive signage for those interested. These signs offer optional insights into the culture and history of the Ktunaxa people, enriching the experience for riders who wish to learn more as they enjoy the natural surroundings. This blend of scenic beauty and cultural heritage makes Chief Isadore Trail a well-rounded destination for cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts.
